Liberty Machine LLC

Liberty Machine started in a Massachusetts basement in 1977 by Don Russell. Jim joined his father in 1979 as a machine operator. In 2005 when Don retired, Jim and his wife assumed control and have been running the business together ever since, with occasional help from their children . The business has moved several times since starting in Jim's father's basement. In 1990 the business moved to a mill building in Manchester, New Hampshire and remained there until 2007 when the complex was bought by a developer; forcing a move. In the summer of 2007 Jim and his wife broke ground in Pittsfield, New Hampshire to build their own steel building, where the business currently resides.
