Liberty Machine LLC

Liberty Machine started in a Massachusetts basement in 1977 by Don Russell. Jim joined his father in 1979 as a machine operator. In 2005 when Don retired, Jim and his wife assumed control and have been running the business together ever since, with occasional help from their children . The business has moved several times since starting in Jim's father's basement. In 1990 the business moved to a mill building in Manchester, New Hampshire and remained there until 2007 when the complex was bought by a developer; forcing a move. In the summer of 2007 Jim and his wife broke ground in Pittsfield, New Hampshire to build their own steel building, where the business resided for 12 years. In 2019 the business moved again to be closer to home.
